i was cheching my fuses today cause both my fog lights went out at the same time and i notice my #2 fuse was blown so i went to put a new one in and it blew as soon as i put it in. does anyone have a clue what it control?
F2.2 is a VERY important fuse as it controls about half of the engine sensors and controls.
If a fuse blows as soon as it it installed, this means there is a wiring fault somewhere. Check for a wiring fault at the MAF, Automatic transmission controls, injectors (all of them), IAC, fuel pump rely (CCRM).
Does this car even start? Since you didn't mention that, I am going to assume that it does. If so, I doubt that F2.2 is the fuse that is blowing.
Should be a diagram/schedule in the owner's manual as well.
FWIIW, what I said about the fuse blowing straight away is still true. There's a fault someone. Either in the wiring harness or a device. Without knowing the correct fuse, can't tell you which devices to check.
