Don't know if y'all had seen this here before. http://gasbuddy.com/ They allow you te see what the price at the pump is for every station in your area. Could help you save a little money. I've been reading stuff about the recent upswing in gas prices and it looks like they are having an effect upon American's spending and driving habits. In fact one report said that demand for gas dropped 6.2% in February. Hopefully with oil prices per barrel slipping to $113 we will see the prices stop their upward creep. At least for a few days.
If everyone has that reaction in america to the raising fuel prices...well not for nothing it's climbing up every damn week. Here people take action, we boycott, we use alternatives.. in USA people just continue to pay up like little sheeps... One day thou shall see when fueling a mustang will cost half of your paycheck.
I think you are slightly misguided (I'll never fuel a car from today for $3000 per tank) and misinterpreting the intent (it's a global issue, not just CA or the USA). How's this work for you?
Get out of your hole: [*]Gas Price Protest [*]Interest groups protest Riley bid to raise offshore gas tax [*]Ingenuity at the Gas Pump [*]Bristol business owner plans gas price protest Why do I feel that every response I make to a post of yours feels like a waste of my time? Also, inquiring minds: please tell this American EXACTLY what it is that YOU do to offset gas prices?
The radio was talking that someone was predicting 10 bucks a gallon in a few years from now. Wish I could remember who they said it was. I utilize 2 gallons of gas per day in my Corolla going to work. My wife uses probably about 3 gallons each day she works. If the **** really hit the fan, I guess we'd cut back on running errands and we'd comine all trips as much as possible. Luckily we have enough income to not be really hurt so far, but I can imagine people who live off a lot less are feeling a much larger crunch.
Sowwy. As long as my daily commute is cheaper than what I make in at least one hour...I'm thankful. I can't really complain I guess. The Corolla has helped a lot. If we could sell this boat, we'd probably save ourselves a lot of gas money this summer too. But at least you get to hear the roar of LT's. P.S....I could kick you a little gas money if you want to swap for your gal?
damn! She aint no cheap whore!! this is high quality material were talkin here. 2 gallons for 20 minutes
cool they actually have canada. i think its gonna get up to 1.50/liter here for summer for regular. i think i will drive the stang very little cause of the gas prices.
In italy f**ng gas price is a bit more than 8 $ per gallon Figure that ... And 98 octane for my C/C stang is nearly 9$ per gallon chit
I wish ford had gone through with the diesel v6 in the F150 so I could buy one and hit up mcdonalds for french fry oil
No new refineries have been build in a very long time. No new drilling for oil in our country in a very long time. Why? Becaues of the enviromentalists, that's why. Yet, people continue to vote them in. We have a presidential canidate that says that the answer isn't drilling for more oil, or reducing the taxes, or even building new refineries, his answer is "Green energy". My question is, what "green energy" could be used as of right now? How much will it cost us? It doesn't matter to the enviro-whackos, if we have to all be charged and taxed into poverty, if that is what it takes to meet the enviromental goals, then so be it.
