I am about to purchase my 93 notchback. Stock 302.

I also own a month old 2014 5.0

I have had 4.10s sitting in my room waiting to go into the 14, but now that I'm buying this I'm just curious of the best ratio to go in the fox.

My 14 has 3.55s currently. I could also put that in the fox.

Any suggestions?

4.10s in the new, 3.55 in the old. The '14 has a much higher power band and more gears with respect to overdrive ratio.

I've just pulled my 4.10s out for 3.55s and it's increased the drivability 10 fold on a car driven 50 miles a day in stop/go traffic.

+1 on this.

The 5.0 Mustang DOHC engines are made to rev, and big gears help get it up into its powerband range much quicker.
