I will be picking up a shop press to rebuild the rear end & T5 on my mustang. Anybody have any experience with a reasonably priced bearing separator or gear puller I can purchase. I'm a bit worried about the quality of the harbor freight set. I worked in the automotive field in the past and my tools mainly consist of snap on and Matco but I'm not really interested in spending $150 plus on one. $50 to $100 may not be too bad for me.

Maybe you can utilize something in your shop to fabricate your own tools. That would be the best for zero expense.
