Good Paint and Body Shop in the Canton/Akron area

    I'm looking for a good paint and body shop in the Canton area. I have 67 Coupe that I'd like to have media blasted and painted. I've heard that there are two resto shops in the area, Murphy's and Flashback, but I haven't found anyone who has used them. Any thoughts?

    I called Murphy's Restoration in Dover and they quoted me about $10k for paint and body, but that doesn't include engine bay or trunk. It seems a bit pricey to me, especially since I offered to tear down the car myself and deliver a shell. Maybe I'm looking at the wrong kinda paint and body shop. Maybe I just need a local who can do good work. Frustrating!

    I know a fella who works there, they specialize in GM products. I also have a friend who owns a shop here in Newcomerstown that you should talk to, he is VERY GOOD! If you are interested, PM me and I will give you his name and tel#.
