Got a question on rough starts right after car has been running

Ok my car starts up just fine in the morning. But if I drive it for a while, stop and start it right up again. It acts like the battery is almost dead. But if I let it sit for a while it starts right up. SO it only drags if I try to start it right after it has been ran. Is this a sign the starter is going out?

Any advice appreciated.

It can be a heat soak issue with the starter, or an IR issue with the power cables. I've used a jumper cable to augment existing cables when I know the car will act up. If the jumpers change the issue, you can surmise the issue is wiring related.

Good luck.
