got my novi

Mmuuhahahaha look what I got. Finally got my supercharger, it’s a Novi 1000.
Just added the final touch to my car. I still need someone to help me intall it. And then I have to get it tuned. But I should be pushing 350hp to the wheels on a mustang dyno. With stock pistons, heads, and upper and lower intake. I need it to be reliable before powerful. Anyway enjoy the pics

i am running a 4 inch power pipe and 8 inch crank pully, so it bumps up the boost a bit.

there is a guy that is running the same stuff i am and he is running around the 350 mark as well

how much you plan on pusing? 20psi? :rolleyes:

taking a car from a stock 190 RWHP to 350 RWHP.. thats a 160 HP jump.

I run a Vortech S-trim at 11psi on a stock everything else but exhaust setup. I HIGHLY doubt its 350 to the wheel on a mustang dyno.. maybe 300...

but either way, I DONT want to rain on your parade.. please have fun with it.. I am with mine.
 
how long have you been running yours, any problems ?

Me? 2 years... 30,000 miles.

No problems worth mentioning. Other than throwing up the 3rd gear syncro in the tranny.. which happens when you increase torque as the t-5 isnt made to hold much more than the stock power outputs.

The blower has been completely ROCK SOLID. And considering Vortech Owns Paxton now, im sure you will experience the same reliability from the blower.
 
sorry to kinda of tread jack, would there be much differnce is performance 1/4 mile if 2 stangs are pumping around 400rwhp but one with h/c/i with small 5 psi s/c and stang that is putting 400rwhp from just being s/c?
 
Yeah 350 is a little high. Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords did a Novi 2000 supercharger on a stock lx 5.0 a while back and it only put out like 308 rwhp. And thats the 2000, not the novi 1000. Well it could of been one of the other mags but the point is your a little high on your guesstimate.
