gt 40 intake on a stock motor

I was wondering if a gt 40 intake will bolt up to an otherwise stock 5.0 and use the stock throttle body and any other stock parts. I can get an intake for $375 in good condition, just wanted to make sure I wouldn't need to buy any other parts right now.

Yes, the intake will bolt up to all stock equipment as long as you have both the upper and lower GT-40 intakes you will have no problem.

yeah, gt40 will not bolt up to the stock lower intake becuase the gt40 is a straddled design for the runners as the stock has inline runners

wiggy's tell me how that intake works for you! i'm thinking about buying the same gt-40 intake as you. they say it adds 25- 30 hp on stock motor.
