Had a 302 sitting around thought it had "P" heads but they looked like the plug was not a big deal (heard that the "P" heads have a bad plug angle)...well,it wasnt because they where regular GT-40 heads (Cobra heads basicly,only mine are from an early Explorer).
Differances:
Spark plug angle (dur)
GT-40P has GTP on the right side lower surface (facing exhaust ports),other is simply GT
Part number for GT40 is F3ZE-AA while the "P" head is something else
GT40 has a 1.54" exhuast valve compared to the "P's" 1.46"
GT40 has 3 "lines" on sides,"P" has 4
