GT to Cobra Brake upgrade

I am considering upgrading to cobra brakes front and rear. Is it worth the money or should I just go with the Brembo cobra R fronts?

its worth it if you have a 96-98, somewhat worth it if your 99 up(already 2 piston) and if you have the cash for the 4 piston then go for it.

its definitly worth it. but i would only upgrade to the cobra r brakes (brembo) or willwood if you plan on some serious track racing. if not, then 13" cobra brakes will be plenty of stopping power for you on the street. try searching. i made a couple posts about my brake setup. i love mine!

I have the cobra brake upgrade as well and stopping power is awsome, I would just go with slotted rotors and hawk hp pads

The whole kit is under $800, not bad for better looking brakes behind your wheels.........

Remember, if you go with the Cobra R brakes you'll have to use 18in wheels so they will fit. Standard Cobra brakes can use 17in wheels. If you already have 18in wheels then its all good.

03-04 17"cobra wheels fit just fine..........

I thought only 18" wheels only , but I was wrong.....
