H-PIPE LEAK...please help!!!!

My H pipe flange is warped and it leaks (flange where it connects to the header). Is there anything I can do to stop the leak? any ideas? other then getting a new H-Pipe?

I know I could get the ends cut off and new flanges put on but that will cost quite a bit of money...any other ideas?!!?!?!?!

if you cut and re-flare it it will be to short. just get the end re-flared cost like 10 bucks and they dont even have to cut it.

The only other thing I can think of is to get those flange type gasket things. But I don't know how well that would seal either, but I guess it could be worth a shot.

See other post. I think they're not warped or bent, just improperly installed. They need to be loosened completely up and then retightened evenly.

Are you using the factory ball/socket setup, or the triangle flange setup? I know on their longtubes they use the triangle setup, which is much more prone to leaks.

If the flange is bent a little bit......bend it back. Metal does bend you know.

save yourself the installation cost, take it off yourself... install it yourself, you should only trust yourself and close friends, becuase the average mechanic gets it in there and doesnt care, just wants the money...
