I had best buy put a new pioneer system in my mach 460 stang.. Took em over a day the first guy couldnt do it then they brought in the big gun... he said it only took him a second, he said the first guy tried to wire the harness to all three amps and thats not how its done you only wire it to one amp.. is this true? The system seems to sound good do you all think some speakers are missing from the mix? I got the pioneer 4600 with mp3. I didnt even need to buy the Premium System Interface they thought I would need to buy.. it seemed too easy in the end..

I installed a pioneer deck myself into my stang which is also adorned with the mach 460. It's been a while since I've looked at it, but as I recall, I only had wire coming from one amp. Don't have my car here right now or I'd go look for you, but the easiest way to find out if everything is working properly is to play the system for a good 15 minutes or so and pop the trunk and feel both amps, they should both be equally hot. If they're not, they screwed up the wiring, go ask for your money back because it's just going to be some dumba$$ ripping your car appart not having a clue what he's doing because he's too lazy to get a multimeter out and earn his paycheck.

    Mach 460

Im trying to put a pioneer head unit into my 02 GT. Its turning out to be a big problem. Two techs at best buy said I have to bypass the amps in the trunk. Another tech told my to run RCA cables back to the Amps. I know they make a wiring harness for the amps. Anyone have any suggestions?
