Hard Starting

I have a 92 Coupe and I am having trouble with it starting. When the car has
set overnight it will start right away ,when I try to restart it is very hard to
start it, smells like it is flooded. I have went through the entire ignition system
and fuel system, also the ECU has been checked, all OK. Where is the fuel relay
located on this car? It is not under the drivers seat nor is it on the strut tower .

coupe things come to mind. i would almost say you can rule out injectors pulsing after the engine is off, etc, as you would really have probs after it sits all night.

i take it that it turns over ok, just doesnt want to catch?

if you try to start it with the loud pedal to the floor, this kills the injectors. see if that works. then troubleshoot from there.

sometimes the FP relay is buried under the carpet. those are the only two places i know of it ever being.
good luck.

On EFI cars before 92, the fuel pump relay was under the driver's seat. On 92 and later it is under the MAF on the passsenger side next to the WOT relay for the A/C.
