Hey guys i was wondering if anyone in here knows how to hardwire a radar detector on a mustang... If so, was it easy?? any pics of the procedure??

yeah it is pretty easy...just cut the cigarette lighter adapter off the end of the wire, and strip the 2 wires, connect one to postitive and one to negative.

you could also wire to a switch if you want or go searching for a wire that only has power when the car is running. but the basics of it are easy

i was thinking of doing that, so as to take up another spot on my billet ashtray switchboard... the foglights are lonely!
