It's been 4 years (almost to the day) that dad hit the deer and totaled his harley. We bought it back from the insurance company (although not much on it was still usable besides the engine & tranny) and he began the slow process of rebuilding it. He finally got to fire it up and drive it around the block last week and has an appointment to get it titled/registered on the 30th (it's technically not a Harley any more, it's a home built).

Looking good! :nice:
Talk about "arising from the ashes"; from a little 883-frame to the chopper style! Yay-us! I can see why your Dad has the big grin on his mug. :D

Now the only problem is that I'm going to have to sneak into Mrs StDr's MSN account and slap a password on this particular thread. She's no longer muttering "Over my, no make that your, dead body" every time I talk about getting myself a putt on which to get back and forth to work. If she were to see this thread; the "Final Answer" would go back to "NO!!!"
