hatch removal

i have a 1990 gt and my dad had a 91. my dad decided to give me his stang because he has a lightning and he wants to put all the work into that now.......now my question is will those hatches work on either car? i know the fenders are different but will the hatches line up right? and how do i remove the hatch? i took the bolts off and i discovered that there is alot of wiring but idk if i just have to cut it and re attach them or if theres some way around that.

they are the same the wires unplug on the bottom and then you pull them out from the top snaking them through the hole.again you will have to unplug the plugs for the lights they can't be snaked through the small entry hole up top.

They are the same hatch like stated by hsean. remove teh trim panels screws so you can get behind the quater trim and unplug the wires and snke them out. ver yeasy and no cutting needed.
