I just purchased a 2003 Mustang. When the steering wheel is adjusted to it's lowest position, the headlights go out. I've read other posts about problems with the multifunction switch but that seems to control turn signals and bright / dims. Has anyone had this problem? Also my heater / AC fan quit running yesterday. The fuse is good. I'm wondering if there is a short that is related to both problems?

    Any thoughts?

headlights issue is most likely MFS. heater is probably the fan resister in the fan box.
