I thought about buying Trick Flow Twisted Wedge Heads. My question is should I go with a E303 cam or should I get one of the Trick Flow cams to match the heads and if so which one should I get, so I don't have to flycut the pistons. Also where is the cheapest place to get Trick Flow Heads.

I run an F-303 with the TFS TW .. the clearance valves/pistons is over .100 on both exhaust and intake valve.

You should always check your v/p clearance when installing a new cam.

I have the TW heads with the E-cam and it works great. No problems with PV clearance. The lope of the E is nice!! I made 300RWHP with a cobra intake. Either way you can't go wrong, but the TFS cam will give better drivability. It takes a while for the computer to learn the E-cam, with it's 110 LCA and all.

the trick flow heads are not as user friendly as AFR nor do they make the horsepower AFR's make the 165's are the best combo with the e 303! do your homework trickflow is a good head but AFR is better and less of a headache to match up to all of your stock motor applications, clearences etc!

good luck!
