heads/valve springs

Thinking about doing blower cams, which require new springs. To do springs, do you have to pull the heads off the block?

nope, you need a spring compressor, which is easy to find, and a tool that uses compressed air to pressurize the combustion chamber and hold the valve in place while you take the spring off of it.

i'm not sure what that tool is called but its pretty simple, just hook it up to some compressed air.
