ok guys remeber i posted about my buddy that was building the 331 stroker with the b 303 cam gt 40 cobra upper and lower intake, 24 Ilb injectors,flattop pistions,hardenpushrods,rollerrockers, 70 MM throttle body,and converted to MAss air

he was going to go with gt 40s but there on back order for to long so he was wondering whats the best i told him i thought afr's but not sure what size he is just looking for some ideas to suit his build the best

afr 165s or 185s if he is planning on a blower or anything in the future. a nice set of trickflow twisted wedge heads would do the trick also

any of the above mentioned are good... Edelbrock will work fine too.

All are better than gt40s

Hard to really explain.. nothing is ACTUALLY wrong.

$1,200 heads with $900 worth of proffessional port work. The problem is one chamber has a small hairline crack in the *spark plug hole*. The heads came off a mint running car that put down 375HP NA and were put on the car with the crack there. They pressure test fine also. but its still a crack so people make it out to be a really big deal. (which is understandable)

take it to a welding shop and have them tig weld the crack and than retap the spark plug hole
