JT ... My old friend :D

The keyword above is ... "old"

Well ... not necessarily old as in ... Old Man :)
but
Old enough ... to relate to a thread I got going on in the tuning forum ;)

Now JT ... I know you've said you don't wanna get too involved in
the tuning forum posts

but

I know for a fact by our past conversations :Word:
You've done the same things with modified springs and weights
that we do these days with a laptop

I ain't gonna say any more :nono:
so
You'll go over there and see if I'm pullin your leg ... or not :rlaugh:

I really do want you to get involved
in what I hope turns out to be a good discussion over there :D

Lately ... the tech has been so lack luster :notnice:

btw ... thread title is ... Spark & It's Effect On Low End Torque

Well Mr Grady :hail2:

I'd have to augment your narrative to read that "we" have done some dizzy curving but "You" use a laptop these days :rlaugh:. I'm trying to figure out how to hook up my old TI 85 calculator to the EEC to make something happen. :D

I do agree with ya - and I have some hideous insight involving such things with regard to the AODE (a whole 'nother pile of horse crap). Wes is thinkin' of hiring a hit man to come take me out. I've wasted myriad hours of his time tryin to nail down some things. :hail2: Mr Wes has all the timing insights involving the autos (lotsa' timing while the converter is stalling, etc).

I will check on your thread and see if I have anything to add that hasn't been brought up already. I doubt it though - you folks are much smarter than I am.

BTW, I am old. Recently someone mentioned a wax thermostatic valve and I brought up the old ones we had in our air cleaners for diverting hot air from the heat riser. People were like WTF is he talkin about.

I still remember the high-test alfalfa we'd give the horses on race day. :D
