Help!! 2010 Brake Lights Won't Go Off. :(

Just noticed that my brake lights, along w/ the third brake light, won't turn off. It's like someone is sitting there pressing the pedal. I checked the pedal to see if anything was stuck and it looks ok. I disconnected a switch that's attached to the top of the pedal (looks like this: http://images.cjponyparts.com/media...f78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/h/w/hw2373.jpg ) and the switch itself springs back and forth. Even when this switch was disconnected, the lights remained on. Any ideas on what this could be? I disconnected the battery in the meantime.

Could be broken wire or the switch itself isn't making the connection. I would just try replacing the switch with a new one and see what happens. You should be able to get it at your local autoparts store.
