One by one I have had lights (and my horn) short out on me, stay on constantly, and run my battery down! First my under-hood light went, then my map light, then one day my horn suddenly started blaring, then my dome light just went out! What gives? Anyone had this happen before? If not, any ideas on fixing the problem short of an all-new wiring harness and replace every switch in the car?!?

Horn metal diaphrams are seperated by this spungy foam. It rots, and eventually the upper plate sags and makes contact with the lower plate. Off goes your horn all by itself. This usually occures in the middle of the night or when your in a movie theater (kidding). You can replace the foam with craft store foam (look around Michaels etc.) you'll find something similar. I used these foam snow-men characters from a craft store. Been 4 years and no problems.
