These are the two tire options because those 2 tire setups I can get for $680 total plsu shipping. Since the Nittos run small I can run a 315/35/17 nitto on a 17x9 wheel.
There is a store on ebay that sells the bfg G-force t/a KD in sets of two. 275/40/17 runs 275 a set. As far as performance, the KD is far superior to either the Kdw or the nitto. Its pretty much the best street tire BFG ever released.
Where are you finding a KDW2 in 275/40/17? I have never been able to find that size? Anyhow, I highly recommend the KDW2's, best tire in its price range, HANDS DOWN. Wet & dry traction are excellent, handling is good, & they last a long time....
Its not a kdw2. It is a kD. The seller on ebay is jtbdj5. The size is 275/40/17. These are Y rated ultra high perf. SUMMER tires. They are awesome in every situation except rain, there they are a little loose, to say the least.
I wouldnt run 315s on a 9" wheel anyway, even when nittos do run small. Your sidewall will buldge a ton and look awful imo. If those are your only options I would get the BFG. But I would go 275 all around even in the nittos.
The 275/40/17 is the newest size in the KDW2's I've seen them listed as KDW NT's also not sure why but BFG is discontinuing the first KDW's soon. BFG's website has the 275/40/17's listed and they are for sale on Tire Rack - Your performance experts for tires and wheels . I even here more sizes are in the future. I don't do ebay.

Nitto's tires run smaller than any other manufacturer. 275's fit like 245's and 315 fit more like 275/285's. I had 275/40/17 on a 17x8 wheel a few years back and they fit like the stock goodyear 245's did. If you put a 275 nitto on a 17x9 wheel they will look to small of a tire.
