Help me Decide on Springs/suspension

Well, I am in the mood to lower my car. I don't want to have the 4x4 ride height anymore. I have the 17" 98 mustang gt rims on my car and it looks like there is at least 2" of gap inbetween the top of the wheel and the well. I am trying to find a suspension or springs that will help when i go to the track also. I wanna take it to NEdragway but i do not want to be held back by some lowering kit that i have in my car. Please help with some suggestions.

Oh, and i want to learn to polish and what is the easiest thing to polish on the car that will probably not take as long? Upper intake seems like a long job. I would like to see if i am actually able to polish something? Any suggestions?

Lowering springs will hurt u at the track without a doubt. You can always get coil overs, but they are $$$.

Some people say the eibach drag launch springs lower the car a bit.

Theres a reason so many of us on here still sport the 4x4 look, it hooks!
