help need heat

The heater in the lx is not very warm.i checked with an automotive thermometer and the air coming out is 120 deg.i checked my new truck and it is 150 deg.i changed the thermostat to a 192 and triple checked to make sure it is in right,and changed heater core about 6 months ago.the water pump is also new.i also checked to ensure the knob from hot to cold is all the way on the hot side.my temp gauge in car at idle is only about 160 and at cruising speed will go up to about 175deg.any ideas??????

Is it possible that the hoses to the heater core were hooked up incorrectly, or is it possible that the heater core is plugged? Also is the new water pump a stock replacement and does it spin the same way as the one you took out?

the water pump is an edelbrock and is supposed to be a stock replacement and i dont believe the heater core could be clogged its 6 months old.
