Ok guys I have a major problem with tire and wheel fitment. First some specs on my car. It's lowered with an Eibach Pro kit, approx 1.2 inchs in the front and 1 inch in the rear. I recently had Brothers Performance's 5 lug conversion kit installed along with 18x8 and 18x9 Boyd Coddington Smootie II's. I'm running a 245/35/18 in the front and 265/35/18 in the rear.

Now the problem, the 5 lug kit pushed the wheels out about a 1/4 inch on each side causing the tires to be flush with the fender lip. The tires are now hitting the fenders as a result. :bang: Does any one have advice on how to fix this problem???

I've thought about changing springs so the car is not as low but I can't be sure this will fix the issue. I've also considered wider fenders or fender flares but can't seem to find any for the Fox Mustangs.

I can't drive the car at this point because I'm afraid it will cause a blow out.

get smaller rims? like 18x8 all the way around...

and on that note, im sure someone else will actually have a good idea on how to help you.
but i sympathize, my 16x8's are barely squeezing in.
