My question is that when I am racing at the strip and I take the car to around 5500 rpms and shift to second (and sometimes third) gear, sometimes when I go to lay into the gas there is nothing there...then if I let go of the gas for a split second and slam back into the pedal it goes again. I know that it is not my rev limiter because I can take the car all the way up to 6200 sometimes and It will not shut off. It feels like possible fuel delivery and wondered if anyone had any suggestions for trying to troubleshoot this problem. This problem is definitely very random and unpredictable and extremely frustrating. Any input would be much appreciated. Thanks
