Help! Top won't drop!

Of course it happens as soon as the weather gets nice and warm.....
On my 89 GT vert, when you press the button on the dash the relays click, but the top doesn't drop. I've already tried swaping the relays, just in case, but it didn't change anything. I've also checked the motor by putting 12v directly to it, no problem there. Is there a breaker, or something in the circuit? I can't seem to find any diagrams to show the whole circuit. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Can you hear the motor? but nothing happens? that is what has happened to me, and it turned out to be one of the pistons... leaked all over my back seat and everything... hope this helps a bit

No, the motor just doesn't respond to the button

Have you tried tapping on the motor with something heavy?
Mine did the same thing and it has worked ever since (that was about a year ago)..

I found this to be helpful, wiring diagram does not show the relays but is
close. Had the same prob with my vert. I just unhooked and rehooked the electricals and loosened and tightened the ground. Works fine!
