Isnt there a easier way??
...220 at the crank? They come with 225 at the crank from the factory....I'd guess around 240fwhp, and 200rwhp.
240 like everybody else has said. You really need heads/intake to get big improvements in hp#'s. Thats not to say that your car cant be fast the way it is, just look at 25th's car, its a freak of mustang nature
I agree with what everyone said. around 200-210 at the wheels. About the cam, youll be choking the motor with a cam with stock heads and intake. I doubt youll notice a gain. But im pretty sure most engine will need to come apart, intake, heads, water pump, timing chain. Its highly recomended to get a new timing chain when changing a cam, and you will NEED new springs, as your stock springs are old they wont hold a higher lift cam for long.
My car is by NO means a freak. But it has stock bottem end, stock cam, E7s with GT40 valves and a valve job, Cobra Intake, full exhaust, pulleys, MAF, TB etc... Nothing special. Id say 210-215 rwhp?
I too would put my money on the 220rwhp area...with stock heads and intake, you're not getting much more out of it than that unless you've got some porting trickery done.
whoops i got all confused thinkinf of RWHP and crank hp i meant 220 at the wheels. thanks for correcting me lol
