    yeah. Basically the explorer motors sucked because of the cam they have. The engine its self is great!, It has 9:1 compression, same block as ours, with gt-40p heads. and that intake flows very good- as whell, it is a staggered ford round lower. The engines are basically a cobra engine, but better cause of the p heads. If you do it, though you need a cam, even teh stock mustang cam is better than the explorer one, its all about torque for that, thats why only like 215 hp. I replaced my cam with a Crane 2031, and some 1.7 roller rockers that the cam requires, due to its a cobra cam. let me tell you, this engine aint even close to 215. i know what my old motor felt like, and dam this new one friggin rips, i cant wait to get some numbers, but sotp, wow!
