Cruising here for a few weeks helped me figure which Mustang I wanted.
I had been shopping locally for a newer GT 5 speed but base GTs with cloth and 40k miles were going for $20k! I considered the 2011 3.7 but it didn't make the noises I wanted.
So the week of Thanksgiving, I found a 2005 GT, leather, 5 speed, 7500 miles (!) for $17k. But it was 2400 miles away in Oregon. The photos of the car were perfect. In the time I inquired to when they replied, the car dropped $1500!!!
I put a deposit on it, flew up on a Friday and made it to Dallas on Monday.
That was a long trip but worth it. Legend Lime, Torque Thrusts, rear wing delete. One little ding in the door, a little curb rash on the wheels but otherwise as it rolled off the line.
