I ran across this site while doing some research on a couple of used Mustangs I found, trying to decide which one to get serious about; looks like there's a lot of knowledge here so I thought I'd hang around.
Here's a quick background on me; I had a 1986 LX Hatchback (I like the sound of "Fastback" better, but I don't make the rules) that was pretty doggy, but it was my first new vehicle bought with my very own $$ so I loved it. Traded it in on a pickup after 120k and am now looking to get back into another Mustang. Right now I'm trying to decide between 2 '96 models I found, one is a Saleen S281, the other is a Cobra SVT. Both are within a couple hundred bucks of each other in price, the Cobra has about 20k more miles. I've got some questions on the Saleen though, which I put in another thread.
One way or another, I'll be behind the wheel of another Mustang in the next few weeks.
