HID Conversion kits

I have been able to source parts to convert the sealed beam headlights on most classic mustangs to modern style, both reflector and projector types. I have also found compatible HID kits to match, providing a reasonably cheap HID retrofit kit. Is there interest in this sort of technology?


I know people want to go fast, but.... sometimes you gotta see too

I think the final price is somewhere near 200 dollars, most likely less. Is this a good price for a full conversion kit?

The only other thing you would really need is to goto radioshack and get an automotive relay and do some wiring, unless you pt your faith in the stock headlamp switch

I did this on my stang this winter.

I used Hella H6024 to H4 conversion bulbs-

and then you can use any H4 bulb, HID or halogen. I used an HID kit from http://www.visionbulbs.com/ as they gave our local Mustang club a group purchase. The kit is great. I went with 4300k.

With that kit, it comes with a relay, and only took me about 30min to install.
