Good Morning All,
I am about finished with my '80 Cobra! We finally started the completely rebuilt motor last week after the install, and getting everything else hooked up. We will be setting the timing this afternoon. We experienced a high pitched whistle when the rpm goes up. Any thoughts on what may cause this? I'm stumped, and don't know where to look or what it could be. Is it because it's a new engine? We had it dyno'd and I don't recall hearing this noise (330 HP on the dyno) Little info on the motor if it's needed: Everything is brand new!!
