Not bad at all. Just need some more practice at being more consistent. Did you find the right rpm to launch at?
think so.... it was my first real time so i was trying different shift points and stuff... hence the inconsistancy.... but yea i was launching at arund 2k.... i would get a little bog some times but others it was great... i think the perfect number is about 2125 rpms... lol then i just feathered the clutch in... wasnt really trying for RT's either.... but shifting at about 5300-5400 seemed right as well... im going back this friday to film some more... when im done this video for my film class ill post it.. i might post some raw footage if i go to the editing lab later...
if anyone want to go friday let me know... i also think im gonna bump up my timing to like 12-13 and put 93 in it next time i go.... just to see if i can pull a 14.6 maybe ill swap out my back to the tri bars.... probally alot lighter... and friday i get out of clas early so ill have time to do it...
I think those times are pretty darn good considering the mileage and the mods. Cant wait to run mine this spring, hoping for 14.5ish now and maybe 14.25 with the gt40 intake.
not bad at all first time out with the car.....there is some improvement man...i'm gonna try and make it out next week for the first time on the suckatumo's so we'll see how that goes They are MUCH better than what I had on there.
I ran a 14.9 @ 93 with similar mods, but with gearing. Thats where the AODE gets me... But I'm also doing the intake swap, hopefully bring it down to 14.6ish with wishful thinking?
