in Texas... 1996 Saleen S281 Mustang I've emailed the guy asking for some photos, just for my own interest... If the exchange rate wasn't so bad i'd be on a plane to texas right now typing this from 30,000 feet !!!!!! It would be most awesome to own BOTH tangering coupes!!!! I suppose I could look in to import again...... hmmmmmmmmmmmmm Typing this post has done me NO favours....... where's that calculator.....
This one's been on the market since late August early September. I had photos, but now I can't find them.
Do you know how many orange coupes were produced in '96? I believe I can think of three. 1. UK: silver chevrons 2. TX: black chevrons 3. GA(?): black chevrons It's a neat color!
The third one is in Oregon still. I work with the original owner. He sold it a couple years ago to a couple. I see it at cruises every once in a while. It is an automatic car, number 223.
That's a good question. I can think of yours... the one in TX... I believe there's one in the south with a SR wing... and now this automatic up north.
i did email the guy asking which nimber it was and why i wanted to know, i would LOVE pictures of all 5 (or 6) tangerine saleens.....
a lovely lady has just emailed me regarding this car for sale. Its bumper number is 96-103.... She's had an offer on the car from up north but she's not inclined to take it at the moment as she considers it too low. She is the second owner, Brad's book sites the first owner as Brian Carlson from Minnesota. What is the general concensus of opinion on the market value of this car???
Hey Tigger, what was the original owner of 223 named? I can check it out in the book if we know the dudes name !
the yellow mustang registry USED to have a tangerine registry too, but it looks like theyve shut it all down
Hey Edge, Last fall I went on a Mustang cruise and there was a guy from London who said that he owned your car over there!! He went on the cruise with us but he was driving a Camaro!!
yeah, that would have been Martin, the guy I bought it from... He worked for a big animation studio and they relocated him to CA, but after all the modifications on this car he was worried about smog tests etc. Plus i think he figured he could buy something newer/faster when he got there without having to worry about all the import paperwork !!!
