hood pins

hood pins are truthfully good if you have a fiberglass hood due to the fact that there is waymore turbulance under the engine bay from scoops etc.... if you re going over 80 mph the corners can left and shake. i have seen people ip the factory hood latch out of an ss style hood on his gm. thei are companies that make some really nice 'flush mount' ones with out the real pins that remove. i recommend as close to color math as possible. now if homie has a stock hood--- he just wants to look cool and thats it. werd.

I've got a set of the FRPP ones I'm considering installing with my stock hood on my '02.

Strictly necessary, no. But as 1low03GT says, cheap insurance if you do any racing (Solo 2 and track days myself...), and they do look cool.

1969 GT came with them stock from the factory, so not totally unheard of... :D

I hope I never see a Mustang with the stick-on ones though...:puke:
