hooker 351 pinto headers work in ll ?

To be honest, for the price those headers cost, you may be better off having a set custom built.. sure it'll cost more, but you'll get exactly what you want. I had those headers on my car, but that was with the Mustang II flywheel and bellhousing. I had to get rid of my power brakes to fit them.

I'm going to a SN95 bellhousing, and will be doing custom headers.

I have them on my 351W ... they fit "ok" back when I had manual brakes, manual steering, and an automatic transmission.

In their current form, with power brakes, and Tremec 5spd, they have been modified to the point that I might as well have had a custom set made. Especially since the original slip fit tubes were flanged and bolted together.

By fitting "ok", I mean they were only crushed by the driver's side upper control arm "a little bit", and would take about an hour of cussing to line up and bolt up each side.

After the reworking to clear the SROD bellhousing clutch fork and the power brakes, they fit great.
