I can't ever find a decent shop here, every one is shady or a rip off. I think I need a new end tie rod or possibly something else in the steering/suspension area. Also need new brakes up front. Any suggestions for a shop that can handle this?

    Also try:

    Midway Auto Repair
    999 Morena Blvd.
    San Diego, CA 92110
    (619) 688-0898

Hoss (the owner) is really nice and honest.

I drive 65 miles one way from Ventura County to Orange County when I need work done on my stang. I go to XMP. Eric is the best. One stop shop for anything from oil change to blower install.

Thanks for the replys =). I've been let down by so many shops here I'm considering ditching the Ford and just buying something that doesn't need to be fixed. I'll try the Midway Auto Repair since I live with in a few miles of it.

can`t find a good shop there cause they dont pay good guys **** all the dudes from tj work for peanuts.maybe over by fashion valley were all the shops are.i know im from ny what do i know, but spent a lot of time in sd. i lived in pt loma, right near the beach boooy.i love sd,i almost woked at midway jeep,on the corner of rosecrans.used to hang out at the malt shop on midway on the car show nights where the big gym is and i think there was a ralph`s there to.balboa park is the bomb and mission beach too with the beach just for the dogs.santee def had the best go cart tracks around.i used to go to lakeland alot to the indian casinos.ex girl friends parents are still in cali the moved by sdu .i had a 69 camaro but couldn`t race though the cops were all over me,plus the car was ny and we dont have the strict smog laws,so i had it registered here the cops didn`t like it after the 20`th time they pulled me over, that was the det factor why i didn`t stay there, cant race damb it.

    great shop in San Diego

Mark Johnson over at autohaven does a great job. Very reliable and good prices, all of my friends go to him for everything. He works on their new cars and he's doing my engine swap in my 67 coupe. great work.
