How did you stick the valve cover gasket on?

Hey guys... problem, how did you get the gasket to stick on the valve cover? I tried gasket and trim adhesive, but the sob's won't stay put! now please try and tell me what to do before i super glue them in there, as this is about to drive me nuts. It wouldn't stick! The first time I put them in, they stuck, but now, they don't. For the whole headswap, this has been the hardest part... a darn gasket. Tips please!

I'd go easy with any kind of sealer/adhesive if you do it that way ... too much just means more cleaning the next time they come off. Did you try placing the gaskets on the heads and then put the covers on? That can be a little tricky too, but possible if you're careful not to move the gasket when doing so.

rtv and then let it set for a few minutes before you try to put the valve cover back on.
