well I'm a fan of there products and never hear anybody talk about there victor Jr cylinder heads My friend has some on his 383 camaro and they looked awesome slappin it on the engine anybody here know how they flow compared to the competition?
They're pretty good. However, its hard to beat Trickflows. Most of the really fast shootout guys use the twisted wedge head. For the sick, big inch combo's TFS highports....The edelbrocks are really good and there a couple of guys using them. I've been going a lot of research lately and I've come to find out that the twisted wedge is the way to go. Better than AFR's (which I have). This is due to the combustion chamber shape. Rick Anderson told me that himself! He said that even if they don't flow quite as good as some other heads- they have a more efficient combustion chamber. The older I get the less I know....
qdrhorse makes a good point. sometimes, its not about the flow of the heads, its about the efficency of it. After reading this, maybe ill go TFS instead of AFR 185s... unless you wanna sell me yours QDR?
Its hard to compare a Vic Jr head to a AFR185 that is like a apple to an orange, the Vic Jr should be compared to a AFR 205...then you will see how much more efficient the AFR is over the Vic Jr.
