how do you measure rim width????

like the title says. how is rim width measured? is it outside diameter? inside, or what???

with the tire off, it's measured inside the lip. here...

hmm ok! good to know! so without the tire off, how can i tell? it's about 10.5" OD, and a 245 tire sits flush with the outside of the rim.... maybe 9"???

Most wheels stamp their size somewhere on the back of the hub or spokes

ehh...you gotta figure, each lip is roughly half an inch thick so your rim is probably closer to 9.5" and yeah like 5L5 said, it's probably stamped somewhere on the back of the wheel.
