LS1 can hit 11's with few mods ( bolt ons + cam) only
Can the new GT do it with same mods?

The new commercial I saw showed 0 to 60 in 4.6 stock. I've done 0 to 60 in 5 in my 05 stock.

the best time I have seen is 4.9 and the worst 5.2 0-60. The race between the WS6, yeah he needs to learn how to drive!

    PHP's bolt-on 12.31 s @ 112 mph 05 Mustang.

This is with exhaust, gears, SCT tune, slicks, underdrive pulleys, and a diet.

Strip it down further, port/polish the H/I and change cams and you have an 11 second car.

    Answer your question?

I run 87 octane, have to wait for mods for now. Although I switched to Royal Purple oil and swear it has boosted the power a little.

BigCat, sorry I could have seen it wrong, I'll check next time I see the commercial. Gotta love those commercials....makes you want to go take a ricer out and whoop some butt.:D  :hail2:

we won't know bolt on to bolt until someone adds the biggest comp cams to their bolt on 4.6 3v.

when i add cams i'm counting on having as much or more power than an LS. i'm putting the biggest cams, and maybe even custom. that's when this issue will die for me. i'm going to beat them with stock 3.27 gearing.
