How good is this?

I raced a guy in a new vette, the C6. I hung with him all the way til the end of 3rd gear then he slowly started pullin off in forth and so on..

Did I do good to hang with somethin like that for that long?

I would think so. That means you could hang with the GT500 ... (GT500's and Vettes are expected to perfrom about the same according to Car and Driver's issue with the 2 cars on the cover). Assuming, of course, it was the Vette with all performance options and he wasn't toying with you.

I dont know if he was or not. I heard him squeel his tires at the light, but it could've been a fluke. I dunno. Hed out rev me, and i'd puill right back up.. but after 3rd.. he just kept going off...

2nd He was probablytapping the gas and letting off. They are pretty quick.
