How to change shift rpm points with a C6 ?

I have a C6 tranny in a 71 mach-1 and would like to change the shift point rpm. Specifically to raise the rpm shift point between gears. How do I do that. ?

lets you manually shift the transmission and stay in whatever gear you want.


doesn't say anything about shift points but that's the only thing i could think of. someone else will probably chime in.

Based on what I've heard before, there is an adjustment on the modulator valve on a C4 to adjust timing of shifts. I've bought one for mine but haven't put it on yet. I'm not sure if there is one on the C6, but I'd like to know as well for my truck project.

You can adjust the modulator. Also, make sure your kickdown linkage is adjusted properly. It will hold the tranny in gear longer.

To get wot to change I think you will need to adjust the governor.
