HP numbers in an AODE

How badly does an AODE eat HP as compared to a t-5? I just saw someones signature with an AOD and a lot of mods (HCI, Edel heads etc) but only putting out 250rwhp and that scares me.

94gtlaserrc Went from 189HP/249TQ to 203/278 with the Converter. That is another reason I am wanting a converter.

Usually 20-25% losses on stock AODE, 10-15% on Manual...The 7% gets me closer, but also allows me to launch at higher RPM.

That was a good thread. I'm seriously considering saving for a stick before bolt-ons before HCI. or bolt-ons then stick then hci. Jeezus christ this thing is gonna be a lot of $$

N/A mine made 283 rwhp with h/c/i AFR/FTi/Edelbrock with an art carr tranny and a blower cam.


With the vortech seeing 8 lbs. boost I made 418rwhp.
