hydraulic roller lifter ?

my engine is a 308 with a e303 cam gt40 cast iron heads w/ 1.7 rr and gt40 manifolds does it matter what hydraulic roller lifters i get or is there one that is better than others for my set up? also i the heads are from my old engine and i still have the pushrods... will they work or do i have to get a different size?

Stock lifters are best. If the heads are the same and your old block wasn't decked, which it probably wasn't, the pushrods should be the same. Heck, even if the block was decked the pushrods would probably still fit.

how about the lifters they look ok but i heard they get worn into the cam

if you can spring for some new lifters get stock replacement m-6500-R302
