I Had a good offer on my car. The guy was susposed to come saturday. As it goes he didnt make it and wanted to come today[SUNDAY]. After having trouble sleeping friday night thinking about the car possibly being sold I came to realize I dont want to sell it. So since the guy backed out for saturday I just told him forget it I am going to keep it.

Im sure he was disappointed but thats life. If he would of showed me the money saturday I probably would have sold it.

Last night I took the car to the local hangout and walked around looking at cars. I walked up and stood near my car. I saw several guys come check it out and say how clean it is.

Makes me feel good that a mostly stock car can still turn heads.:nice:

Heres a couple of pics just because.

I remember when i got rid of my first Mustang. I traded it for another Mustang that was more of a racecar than my stock '88 GT was...but seeing the guy drive away in MY car and chirp 2nd gear really sucked even though i got another car in return.

I almost did the same thing a few weeks ago. A guy offered me $4,000 in cash but he waited one day to get it and I changed my mind. I hated doing that but he understood. Its hard letting go of a Mustang, especially one you have put work into.

Very true. I wanted another Mustang, a newer one, and was even thinking on selling my Fox for one. I just ended up saving my money to get another one and I am glad I kept it because even though I like the comfort level and auto trans in my 'Vert the Fox is still way faster and more fun to drive 1 or 2 days out of the week to work.

yeah well, since this isn't a for sale thread it would be noted that your car is proably in that range of value.

what are you going to do with 4500 bucks you well never get another nice car with 5 lug for that much
