If this has been discussed before, I apologize, I could'nt find it.
Pulled a motor this afternoon, and on the left side of the block right above the oil pan is a silver tag that is riveted to the block with the numbers:
1287 K98
10 60 10
Is this anything of significance or is it just production information?
Granted this is the 2nd 302 that I have torn into. The block casting dates it as a 79 block. I've got two sets of 79 heads that have a large CP cast into them by the springs. The heads on this motor have a WC with a P underneath. Is this anything significant? (Curiosity kills me)
